Saffier Yachts wins two awards at Hiswa te Water 2026

Brothers Dean and Dennis Hennevanger have jointly received the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising their contribution to the development of the daysailer and their remarkable achievements as Dutch entrepreneurs on the global sailing market.

In addition, the Saffier SE 28 Leopard has been named Dutch Yacht of the Year 2026. The jury praised the yacht for bringing sailors back to the essence of sailing – a judgement that is particularly meaningful to Saffier Yachts.

The jury stated:

“The boat is fast, easy to sail and great fun. An excellently built, fast and easy-to-sail boat that brings the sporty side of sailing to life to the fullest.”

Saffier Yachts is extremely proud to receive both prestigious awards. Dennis Hennevanger commented:

“I am incredibly proud and grateful to have received these awards. We were of course hoping to win the Dutch Yacht of the Year award with the Saffier SE 28 Leopard, but with such strong competition, we never took it for granted. Winning even two awards is something we had not even thought about.I would especially like to thank our entire team, as they are the building blocks behind the success of our company. Without this team, Dean and I would never have been able to achieve this success.”

Saffier Yachts will be present at Hiswa te Water from September 2 to 6, 2026 in Bataviahaven, Lelystad. The Saffier stand features five daysailers, including the Dutch Yacht of the Year: Saffier SE 28 Leopard. To be viewed at standnumber D06.
