Saffier Yachts is a Dutch family shipyard with an international reach. From our yard in IJmuiden, we build high-quality sailing yachts for customers around the world. Every year we deliver between 100 and 140 yachts ranging from 6.50 to 14 meters – all carefully built by a dedicated team of more than 60 professionals.

What will you do?

As a yacht systems installer, you are responsible for the installation and connection of all onboard technical systems. This includes electrical systems, diesel or electric propulsion systems, pump installations, and onboard comfort features. You will work from technical drawings and are given the space to work independently, with guidance from an experienced supervisor when needed.

Your responsibilities:

Installing technical components such as toilets, tanks, and water systems;
Connecting power panels, cable harnesses, and 12V/24V DC installations;
Installing diesel engines and/or electric propulsion systems;
Working with modern tools and equipment;
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
Supporting other workshop tasks as needed.

What do you bring?

Experience as an installer or electrician, preferably in yacht or shipbuilding;
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks;
Technical insight and attention to detail;
Strong communication skills and a positive work attitude;
You speak Dutch and/or English.
