Saffier Yachts is a Dutch family shipyard with an international reach. From our yard in IJmuiden, we build high-quality sailing yachts for customers around the world. Every year we deliver between 100 and 140 yachts ranging from 6.50 to 14 meters – all carefully built by a dedicated team of more than 60 professionals.

What will you do?

As a yacht interior builder you’ll be responsible for the interior finishing of luxury sailing yachts. You will install custom-built furniture and floors with millimeter-level precision. From the placement of benches to the tight sealing of edges: you ensure that the interior is not only functional, but also looks stunning. You work partly from drawings, independently and accurately, and under the supervision of an experienced team leader.

Your tasks include:

Installing custom-built furniture and floors in sailing yachts;
Neatly sealing edges as part of the interior finishing process;
Assembling deck fittings such as cleats, railings, backrests and seat cushions;
Applying and finishing the deck to the hull;
Working with professional (electric) tools;
Maintaining a neat and safe workplace;
Performing additional workshop tasks as needed.

What do you bring?

A vocational diploma (mbo level) in (yacht) interior construction, furniture making, or carpentry;
Experience as a (yacht) interior builder or similar role;
Strong attention to detail and high standards of finish;
Independence, sense of responsibility and team mentality;
Good communication skills;
You speak Dutch and/or English.
