What will you do?
As a deck assembly technician, you are responsible for installing all visible deck fittings – from cleats to railings and other key finishing details. You’ll work from drawings, templates, and photos, using set measurements to ensure precision. You work independently, under the guidance of a senior team leader for the specific model you’re building.
Your tasks include:
- Installing deck fittings such as hatches, winches, cleats, and more;
- Performing small polyester and coating tasks;
- Polishing deck components for a flawless finish;
- Using hand and power tools professionally;
- Keeping your workspace and materials clean and organized;
- Assisting with additional workshop tasks as needed.
What do you bring?
- A vocational (mbo-level) education in technology, construction, furniture making, or a related field;
- Experience in yacht building or technical assembly is a plus;
- Ability to work independently with a focus on quality and precision;
- Technical insight and craftsmanship;
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset;
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
