The hull of the Saffier SL 46 is crafted using advanced laminate techniques. This includes isophthalic gelcoat and a vinylester-based barrier resin. Using a vacuum-infused method, the hull incorporates Divinycell hardcore-foam throughout, apart from the keel area, which features a robust solid laminate construction.

Key features of the hull design include an integrated towrail for added strength and durability. To support the substantial loads from the keel and rig, the hull is fortified with strong galvanized steel grid.

For effective sound insulation, the engine foundations are seamlessly embedded in Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). The hull has six integrated Arrow windows, providing both aesthetics and visibility from the inside. Additionally, the boat is equipped with a fixed carbon bowsprit designed for optimal performance with a code zero or gennaker. Completing the hull's versatility is a foldable transom, offering convenience and adaptability in various sailing conditions.
