The function
As a trainee draughtsman, your work will consist of interior drawings of various parts of our various models and any modifications to them. You will work together with production in order to achieve a realistic and optimal result of your drawing.
In addition, you will be involved and challenged to think along and work on the development of our new model using Inventor 3D.
The profile
- You are following an MBO education in the direction of mechanical engineering, maritime engineering, shipbuilding or related;
- You have knowledge of drawing programs such as Rhino and/or Inventor;
- Preferably you already have some drawing experience in the yacht building sector;
- You are a strong communicator, so you can work well with colleagues;
- You can organize well and keep an overview, and you think along and come up with ideas;
- You strive for high quality and want to improve continuously;
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.

This is an internship, which can start at short notice, for an internship period of 4/5 months and 4 or 5 days per week. In consultation there are also other possibilities.

On average, 150 yachts between 6.50 meters and 14 meters are built each year and exported all over the world. Saffier Yachts employs 70 people who take pride in what they make.
